Indicator Light
2004 BMW, my rear light indicator keeps coming on, they have changed bulbs before, but the light is back?
It is a BMW 325i, the light indicator comes on then will sometimes go out. I have taken the car to the dealer before and they say they have replaced some of the bulbs. Could it just be that the bulbs are going out? I wonder if it is an electrical problem since today I fiddled with the ignition key and the indicator light didn't come on. Anyone else have the same problem? Thanks
It is not the brake, at least I don't see it out. In fact I don't see any of the lights out. It may be a sensor, it goes into the shop next Saturday, so we'll see how that works out. The error shows up on the dash panel. The top right light error comes on.
Good input on the water leaks. I live in Las Vegas and it hasn't rained in months so I find that hard to be. I wonder if the connection is faulty, I have an appointment maybe the connector is loose. thanks for the input.
I'm getting the same thing but have yet to track down the problem. I've searched around the e46fanatics forums and some of the fixes to this was that the connector was bad(melted) or the conduit that runs the wire from your trunk lid to the main body of your car(along the right side) is bad and causes a break in the wire that would trip the sensor some of the time.
My friend with the same issue replaced the whole lighting pannel and it still goes off. I'm willing to bet its the wiring.
