What country had the first mickey mouse stamp?
I have a bet with a friend who says that the U.S. had the 1st Mickey Mouse stamp. I do remember that stamp but I've seen other countries that had a stamp/s to Mickey as well. Am I correct in thinking that the U.S. was not the 1st one to have a stamp out on Mickey and what country was it that did?
The first stamp featuring Mickey Mouse appears to be from San Marino in 1970, 90 lire (1 of a set of 10 stamps).
The first U.S. stamp featuring Mickey Mouse (37 cents) came out in 2004. Several countries had produced Mickey Mouse stamps before then.
