Grounding wireing for a guitar?
So, I ave a crap guitar squier start Trémalo white and I want to rebuild it to more like a Fender guitar. So I bought a pre-wired pickguard Set (heres is the link) http://www.guitarfetish.com/Single-Humbucker-Tortoiseshell-Pickguard-Chrome-humbucker_p_680.html if your computer cannot load the page, then it is essentially a humbucker and one volume knob, I hung all the dams and I pluged for an amp and the sound came out, but there was plenty of buzz unwanted, so I think I ground against wroung, I grounding in the back of the guitar where the Trémalo is because thats where it was grounded before, so if you know some thing about it so I would like to know where I'm at ground microphones. (Sorry for the misspelling I'm not done a super good at spelling)
Tell yourself that you soldered the wire to the spring claw in the tremolo cavity? This should be correct if you did. I guess all wiring to the guard selection is grounded properly. Check your ground wire in the back of the guitar. So if you have loads of gain and / or distortion, you can get that with any pickup. If this does not resolve your problem, then someone would have to test all the parts and look over all the solder joints. Are you sure you ground the wire correctly, maybe you should call the company and see if they have ideas or if they will replace.
