Pick Sampler
What people think of cross stitch, do you want to try it, but think its cool?
I develop a point of cross-site Modern where users choose to make their own designs with their own giant samplers messages and themes. What kind of images do you think would be good to use as models, for example, instead of sample images to the former, I used the modern-day issues such as nuclear plants and weapons. These models can then be completed using the traditional technique of cross stitch to make up and image, its good mix of the old style art with modern images. Any idea and contribution of craftsmen, artisans, no, artwork, etc. thinkers would be so helpful. Thank you in advance. I am the way Hannah, who makes things:)
A mixture of different things is probably a good starting point, then add things are requested. I do not know anyone who could cross stitch of a nuclear plant or a firearm, but that's just me. We (I know) point for relax and that is not restful. The problem with updating a sampler samplers were origionally for teaching. Girls generally sewn to learn the alphabet in their school so much why samplers of yesteryear were still around misspellings and other errors that have been taken in stride then. You can get lucky with cool colors and techniques rather than the design itself. Instead of a thistle or pomegranate flowers are vivid and bright daisys and other "hip" flowers. Design of an alphabet (for initials or other) that the use of shading or shadows to make it sharp. Instead of a dull heap of houses and people look at art, squares design incorporating a texture with a little more thread work of art like the thread pulled. Its actually extremely easy to draw the thread work if you have a good scheme.
