Guitar Screws

What can I use to unscrew the screws in the bridge of my (electric) guitar?
I'm trying to lower the action of my guitar by unscrewing the screws on the bridge, but some of the screws are screwed in too far for me to use pliers to unscrew. How can I unscrew these?
I mean the screws that only have like an open hole, not any kind of Phillips hole or anything
a screwdriver helps.
