Bell Knob
My 1 year old Shiba Inu is bad?
Hello everyone .. So it's really weird, I have a shiba inu a year, this morning I took a long walk nicew lke always, he made her pee and we went back to my apartment. So when I got out of the shower, I noticed that had peed on my rug, and we just returned from our walk!. Part strange thing is that I have a bell on the doorknob to ring always when he needs to go .. so why the carpet? why right after a nice walk long? they were trained cage and peed in his same 1.5 times its own body size .. what can I do?? is not a rule that says that for every month he is, he should be able to keep yourself to that many hours? It is neutralized by the way, and he can not keep car all day at all .. Maybe 3-4 hours at most ... I removed his blanket in his cage .. if he pees now, he will swim in. .. Maybe it would work .. the vet said he Nothing wrong with him ..
It seems to me that this is a new behavior, right? He suddenly started within to urinate? If so, take him to the vet. It is quite possible (even likely) that he has a urinary tract infection, in this case it probably needs to urinate more often and has trouble controlling his bladder. So first, eliminate a medical cause such as a urinary tract infection .. It could honestly be unable to help having accidents. If it is a behavior problem, you should return to treat him like a new puppy. Do not take your eyes off him so you can avoid most accidents. If it is about to go inside, make a loud noise (shaking a can of pennies, shouting "AHT!" something like that) to distract him and immediately rush outside. Reward him very, very strongly for urinating outdoors and for the use of the bell. Clean all the mess thoroughly with an enzymatic cleaner like Nature's Miracle. Be consistent, patient and do not lose hope. And yes, there is a "rule of thumb" like that .. The puppy is able to "hold" for his age in months, more than an hour, until the puppy is about seven months. (No dog should be forced to hold it for more than eight hours.) However, keep in mind that this is really just a basic rule. It is a generalization. * * It does all dogs.
