Western Buckle
I was takcing up my horse in his western saddle and i just cinched him up and jsut about fainted it seemed lik
the cinch was not tight at all so i wasn't suffocating him
and he let out a big sigh and started to buckle his front legs but i pulled his head up
so then i untacked him really fast and then i tacked him up in his english saddle and he did nothing
then i just hopped on him bareback to make sure he was all right and he was
WHAT WAS THIS ALL ABOUT?
he didn't fall asleep either cause his eyes were open
is he telling me that his western saddle is not fitting right
can u help me??
If he was fine when you put the english saddle back on then i think you should stick with that one. You dont want a repeat incident of that so just avoid using the western saddle - were they both done up the same tightness?
You should contact your vet about it to see if they know what the problem could be, just describe exactly what happened
