Bass amp that would be better for pop punk, Ampeg BA115 or Orange Crush CR100BXT PIX?
Both have the same watts (100) and speaker same size (15 "). I saved two for the bass I wanted (Fender American Vintage '57 Precision Bass Fender Highway and a Jazz Bass, both loaded with Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounds) and they deserve to play through a better amp than the crap I have now. I play pop punk, indie and alternative (Blink 182, Green Day, Simple Plan, Rise Against, Arctic Monkeys, RHCP, the rebound Souls etc.) Which of these would you recommend for this type of music, or would you recommend a completely different amp? It need not be huge, because I only play small venues
The Orange Crush for the quality of construction, sound and tone.
