Sticker Guitar

Should I put a sticker on my guitar?
I have an acoustic guitar, its my first guitar and I've had it for a while so I don't plan to sell it. I have lots of scratches I also have scratches I would like to cover up. Now would it be smart to put a misfits sticker on my guitar? (I know the type of sticker doesn't matter, but I just thought I'd throw it out there) and I also don't plan to keep it on there forever. Just for however long I want.
Your guitar.....do what you want. Some of the best guitars have major road rash, stickers, beer tops, and other assorted things decorating them.
