Schaller Tuning

How difficult is it to replace the nut of an American Standard Stratocaster 1991?

Hey, I had some problems adjusting with my departure. ive replaced the tuners with Schaller locking ones, and now I'm looking in the trees replaing chain, the nut with Tech chart. Is this a form I leave? http://accessories.musiciansfriend.com/product/Graph-Tech-Slotted-TremNut-for-Stratocaster?sku=360450 or should I get a nut LSR roller? http://accessories.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-LSR-Roller-Nut?sku=361268 and if soo, is it a lot of talent to replace the park that is currently on my departure. I heard that all u need to do is hit the old and the glue on a new one inch can make the replacement, or should I expreienced put a luthier? I also use 0010 gauge strings. Nevermind the LSR roller nut .. I just found out that u need to cut / drop some of the first box to make room ... So you, the roller nut is out of the picture.

Hello! Although I have no problem at all disassemble, modify, and reassembling my Stratocaster, I do not mess with the nut myself! This is an area (such as frets, as another example) where the competence of a knowledgeable guitar tech or luthier is well worth the money. Not only do you need to make sure that the spacing string is correct, you must also ensure the curvature corresponds exactly to the neck so that the position of the chain from the handle is well maintained and in addition, the exit point of the strings (the bridge) should be close to the original nut slot to allow ease of intonation. Buying a pre-cut "one-size-fits-all nut may or may not work for your particular application, so check with a technician first. Incidentally, I replaced the factory nut on my 1993 American Standard with LSR Roller nut, and the difference in stability of the agreement was important. Yes, it was made for the modification of the fretboard, but with all the other changes I had the instrument to make it work better for my situation, it was just a game! And yes, I do have it installed by a technician qualified. Hope some of this aid. Sincerely, Dana
