Wall Hanger
Can you please help me remove the nails of a wall!?
The former owners nailed to a wooden hanger the wall, then painted the whole thing, including nails. What is the best way to remove the nails so I can replace the portmanteau ugle suspension?
Use a lever or crowbar to remove nails. You can find these at Home Depot, Lowes, or any decent hardware store. Explain committed to what you should do, and ask them to take the right tool. Here is a link showing what some see as http://www1.dealtime.com/xGS-wonder%: 20bars ~ ~ NS-1-8013493 linkin_id When you have the tool in the hand on the site, gently insert it between the brackets and the wall near each nail as possible. Be careful, in order not to damage the wall surface. Place a small block of wood near the bar to act as a pivot point and protect the wall against damage that you lift the nails. As you can see the link, some levers built into the pivot point to an end, and may not require the use a block, but it is always a good idea to use one because it distributes the force over a large area, which makes the bar less likely damaging the wall. The block of wood will also be easier to remove the nails, because it will take steps to raise the bar as it pivots on the above it. Having everything in place, slowly digging every nail to turn on the wall. It will also move the block from nail to nail you leverage. As each nail head rises from the wall, move closer to the block each time you pull on it to get the leverage to get the good nail to move again. Above all, be patient. Becomes too noisy while removing nails of a wall can cause damage and lead to more work and as work and time spent carefully removed. Good luck with your work.
